Winter of my Life (2008)

The masters of Dark Electro Pop have thought up something special to kick off their anniversary in style. Before releasing the first official single for their next album in autumn, they will serve their fans a very special dish in form of "Winter of My Life" – an exclusive fan-goodie that is released as a digital download and as a luxurious collector's 7" in clear vinyl, limited to 500 copies. And this single has really got it going: the title track "Winter of My Life" is marvellous appetizer for the upcoming album and a veritable smash hit. Blutengel play out all their strengths in a masterful combination of club beats, atmospheric sounds, the enthralling alternation of Chris Pohl's dark voice and heavenly female vocals and an irresistibly catchy chorus, while being reminiscent of their past with the use of slightly distorted vocals and a gloomy mood. "Winter of My Life" is not only one of the group's best tracks ever but also a sure candidate for the charts. The b-side "Point of No Return" does not disappoint at all, either, and features a solid dose of Blutengel's signature hit qualities. With one of their strongest tracks ever, Blutengel go to show that catchy dance floor tunes can also be heartfelt and deep at the same time. Fans should try to get their hands on the deluxe limited vinyl ASAP as it will most probably be sold out in no time.

Też właśnie słucham. Oba kawałki bardzo mi się podobają, ale WOML chyba bardziej.

słuchałam tego chyba 3 dni pod rząd Blue_Light_Colorz_PDT_01

. WOML jest genialne! i za kazdym przesłuchaniem coraz bardziej mi się podoba. PONR też fajne, ale nie aż tak^^.

Normalnie łezka kręci mi się w oku, gdy słyszę te dźwięki i ten tekst!! Trzymają cały czas bardzo wysoki poziom:)
